Joining The Mailing List:

You can join this mailing list by one of the subscription methods listed below under Subscription Commands.

Please read through the archive before posting to the mailing list, since your topic of interest may have already been discussed.

Obligations:

Any company, organization, or individual may become a contributor to the EMSD Development Working Group by joining this mailing list. Note, however, that the EMSD protocol is intended to be patent-free, and an Author's Declaration to that effect has been made to the Free Protocols Foundation. Furthermore, the functioning of the EMSD Development Working Group, via this mailing list, conforms fully to the patent-free policies and procedures of the Free Protocols Foundation, and a Working Group Declaration to that effect has also been made to the Free Protocols Foundation. Among other things, this requires that all contributors to the EMSD Development Working Group must adhere to the patent-free policies and procedures of the Free Protocols Foundation, as specified in the Free Protocols Foundation Policies and Procedures, Version 1.0.

Therefore, your joining this mailing list will be considered your acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and agree to adhere to, those policies and procedures.

In particular, by subscribing to this mailing list you acknowledge and agree that:

• EMSD is intended to be a patent-free protocol.
• You will not make any contribution to the EMSD Development Working Group that is confidential.
• To the extent that any contribution you make is subject to copyright, you grant an unlimited, royalty-free license to the Free Protocols Foundation and the EMSD Development Working Group under any copyrights in the contribution.
• You have disclosed the existence of any proprietary or patent rights in the contribution that are reasonably and personally known to you.
